Weathered-Love146 Tour & more!

Dear friends,

I hope by now that you have all had a chance to listen through the new Weathered EP at least a time or two. :) I'd love feedback - specifically what song is your favorite?!?!

If you'd like to tell friends about Weathered, it's now available on iTunes! If you are willing to leave a short review on iTunes letting folks know what you think about the EP, that would be awesome as well! http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/weathered-ep/id452793414

As I look towards the possibility of some radio promotion this fall, I'd love it if you would join me in praying for wisdom in that area. I want to invest my limited resources wisely - in whatever way the Lord directs in this season.

For those who still have some additional Kickstarter rewards coming, I haven't forgotten! Now that I'm back home for a few weeks, we're recording acoustic versions of 3 tunes next week and hope it won't be long before we can pass those on to you. I owe a few of you a Skype session or phone call as well, and will schedule an appointment with you very soon!

I was out & around the country off and on for three weeks - my travels took me to Rolla & St Louis, Missouri; Centennial, Colorado; Enumclaw & Kent, Washington (I had such a great time at Creation Festival Northwest!); and Midland & Sterling Heights, Michigan. You can view a photo album from the Weathered Tour on Facebook.

It was such a joy to see some of YOU in person in those cities, and a true joy to share some of these songs for the first time with new audiences and watch the Lord at work in the midst, touching hearts and bringing healing. We were also able to raise about $7000 for my partner ministry Love146, which is incredible!!! Thanks to everyone for the support.

For those in the Atlanta area, mark your calendars for Sunday evening, September 18! We'll be having a belated CD release concert at my home church in Johns Creek (http://www.perimeter.org). More details coming soon.

I'm still considering more travel dates in Sept-Dec, so would love it if you would let me know if your church might consider hosting a Love146 fundraising worship concert (and/or have me lead worship for your weekend services). I'd love the opportunity to continue to share these songs in person, share my story, and share about the great work that Love146 does to end child trafficking all over the world. I'm already in the midst of plans to return to Washington in late September and Indiana in early December. I'd love to see that list grow!

Just send me an email at booking@shericarr.com if you have any interest!

Thanks also for the many who continue to pray for my mom, Annette Keller. She is still in the midst of chemo treatments and we would love prayers that the side effects would lessen so that she can enjoy a better quality of life. She has gone back to work full time again after recovering from the perforated colon (a side effect of one of the chemos they had her on but have now discontinued), but she is still very tired and not feeling well most days. She is a trooper, however, and I admire her courage & strength so much. I love you, mom!!!

Most of all, we continue to pray for God to totally rid her body of cancer. I'm asking God for total healing by her next PET scan later this month. Will you join me in praying for that? I know He is able!

Weathered & worn...but pressing on for His glory!!!!

Sheri
